"Visited the Cottage at Sunset Trail. Jeff and Beth were very pleasant and welcoming. The cottage is charming and very accommodating - well laid out and adequately spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Large bathroom. Actually two bedrooms - one a single bed, the other a queen. Great views of the lake from the front. Access to the two-story dock and kayaks made the long weekend. Bedford , VA was about 30 minutes away. The D-Day memorial is worth a visit. The city is quaint. Definitely intend to return."

"Nice location. Perfect for a family of 4 with 2 adult children. Kitchen is nicely stocked, but make sure you peek in the buffet for serving dishes. Pool table is not level, so don't count on it. The furniture is too big IMO for the rooms, so with more than 4 ppl in there, it would get a bit claustrophobic."

"Very cool lake house. The view from the living room over looking the lake is gorgeous, with phenominal sunsets. My husband and I were excited to find a nice home that was pet friendly and in our budget. We definately want to come back when it's warmer and we can swim, and maybe take advantage of the jet skis on the dock, but the hot tub was perfect! I haven't played pool in forever but that was a lot of fun! They also have a ton of boardgames to play. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who wants a nice little home away from home on the lake. I will say to prepare yourself for limited internet access as it is expensive in the area and they have a limit of usage per day, although we have unlimited data so we just used our own nerwork."
