"My experience here, from start to finish, was really upsetting. I had originally attempted to schedule an appointment for my dog that had just got diagnosed with terminal kidney disease and I was hoping to get a second opinion. The older woman who answered the phone was curt and incredibly unhelpful. My dog passed away the next day. I was obviously distraught and eager to get my other dog a full check up. I found this office by searching through the holistic veterinary association and was willing to pay the MUCH higher prices they were asking for holistic care. I was unaware that there was more than one provider and that my dog was not going to be seen by Dr. Pittman. Out visit was with Dr. Warren. I explained to her that I wasn't a huge fan of pharmaceuticals and she simply asked me "what are you concerned about" and continued to push pharmaceuticals. We had discussed the lepto shot but never finalized my decision to get that. She said "why don't we take him back to at least get the blood work done?" to which I agreed. When they brought my dog back, I was informed that they had in fact given him the lepto shot without my consent. I calmly let the tech know that I did not agree to that. She informed the doctor, who was not at all apologetic. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. After paying almost $600 to NOT see a holistic practitioner, who unapologetically injected my dog without my consent. I also saw, after the fact, that I was charged for the shot, which I had to fight to get ($27) reimbursed. Already completely crushed from just losing my first dog, this was 100% not what I needed."
