"Always great! My husband loves to get the oysters. They were large and he really enjoyed them. I enjoy the peel-and-eat shrimp. Also large and very flavorful. My friend ordered French fries, and it was a very good sized basket, enough for 3 to share, and they were large and perfectly fried - not greasy! Totally love Sand Bar!"

"Never disappointed. Great drinks, staff is amazing, and the food is so good! Best cheesesteak I've had in a long time, the portion is huge! We've also tried the southwest tornados, coconut shrimp, and fish and chips and it's all delicious. Always feel welcomed there."
"The Sand Bar was such a cute place to grab lunch. This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. The menu was limited as it is not a full restaurant but a food truck and bar. We ordered the chili (the days special) and fries, Buffalo Chicken flat bread and tornadoes. Everything was DELICIOUS and served nice and hot. We just had sodas so can’t speak to the drinks but everyone else seemed to be enjoying their beer selection. You seat yourself. Menus are at the bar, specials for the day are on the back wall. You order at the bar and they bring you food to you. If you are looking for a light lunch and drink or a place to watch the game… this place would hit the mark. We will be back the next time we visit Hiawasee."
