"We "TRU"LY had a wonderful experience using TRU birthing center. It was was so relieving to have such a convenient location right here in Lakewood. We did not have to worry much about major traffic or driving in the middle of the night. The staff were so patient and caring. They made everything so comfortable & pleasant. The whole focus was that myself & the baby should be happy & healthy. My recovery was quicker & smoother than it was when I gave birth somewhere else. "I had a great experience delivering at the Birth Center! The staff was so kind, caring, and calm during labor and after! The suite I was laboring in was so welcoming and relaxing. It was a better experience than I could've ever imagined! I was in labor longer than expected, Ashley the RN came in and did some magical exercises, and in no time the baby was out."

"At first I was hesitant to give birth in the birthing center, as I couldn’t decide if it was safe enough. But after doing enough research, and after I couldn’t substantiate any of the rumors of scary stories that I heard, I felt confident enough to try. I am so grateful I did. My labor and delivery was so different and so much better than my previous hospital births. Firstly, Laboring in the tub greatly reduced my pain, so much so that I barely felt the contractions. I loved the fact that nobody was rushing me or making me nervous. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The nurse sat at my side the entire time, and did whatever she could to keep me comfortable. There was no anxiety involved. Even when the pushing got difficult, the staff was still calm and encouraging. And I felt so good after birth, I had no problem leaving a few hours later. It was a beautiful way to bring my child into the world."
