Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine - Nanuet

"Terrible!! Stay far away!! I booked an appointment with this group. Provided my insurance information when i scheduled. They set my appointment for 2 weeks later. I took the day off from work as i am in pain and need this issue taken care of. Upon arrival to check in and the ask for my ID and Insurance card. The woman at the desk says “oh we don’t take this insurance.” As you can imagine i lost my mind!! Why would you schedule my appointment then? So now I’m out a days pay because of their incompetence ! Furious with them doesn’t even explain what i feel. First impressions mean everything…. So no way would i even let them work on my bicycle!!! Thanks for nothing!!"

"Absolute worst on call service "Dr"I've ever experienced in my life. Very unprofessional I was yelled at and spoken to like a dog for repeating that my service was choppy and I couldn't understand what I would assume was important information. The cattiness and highschool like back and forth was so off putting. Apparently me stating that I was recording the conversation (which you have to state by law) because of how she was unjustly yelling at me was considered a threat. But if you were being professional why would the recording bother you? The recording speaks for itself I wasn't rude just inquisitive and needed to understand what she was trying to say. I've never felt so disrespected by a "Dr" in my life. My disposition is typically calm regardless of my illness and it takes a lot to get me out of that. I remained as calm as possible while having to still repeat that I couldn't understand her and the phone was going in and out of service. This "Dr" completely took advantage of my illness by refusing to help or explain how to help me without sarcasm and just being plain rude. Imagine if she just took the time to explain whatever it was she was trying to say instead of having the need to speak down to me, maybe we could have gotten somewhere;to a place of understanding. I felt completely teleported back to highschool. Honestly disgraceful in every way. I'm great ful that I recorded it and I wish I could upload it here because you have to hear it to believe it. Thankfully I had family still around to help me that could hear her and how unprofessional and rude she was. As an inpatient at my last hospital stay I was a patient of Dr. Long and a nice Gentleman that I don't recall his name. I had an appointment with Dr Long which was very informative with no issues yesterday and both of those Drs are not a reflection of whomever I spoke to today and it's unfortunate that this person is associated with these two great Drs. I wish I had the name but once I receive it I will update."

". I had an appointment for my back, and I wanted to update my review. OK, now last week the visit wasn't scheduled on the day that I went to see them. Yes, it upset me, as I take taxi's as I don't drive. So, I came in the next week, and they were perfect. The receptionist was extremely nice. I got to see my Dr. Her name is Dr. Loung. She is awesome, nicer than nice, and a wonderful Dr. I was so pleased, that I couldn't wait to get home to change my review. Last week, was a scheduling mistake. So, this week as I went, the visit could not be any better. Very happy I came back. They were terrific."

"Dr Luong was excellent. I felt she really knew her stuff. She was very patient, did not rush my visit and explained everything to me so I could understand my problem. She seems like a very caring doctor. She gave me different options on my pain management She had excellent bed side manners and would highly recommend her. She is definitely an asset to your practice. As for the practice, there was minimal waiting time which was great!"

"Big location, lots of space, big waiting room. Staff could be a little more friendly. Waited about 30 minutes for the doctor and when he got there he spend less than 3 minutes with us, barely looked at the patient. Even if it is something simple I believe you want a doctor to take more time and look at all factors. I have to go back in two weeks. We will see then. While waiting for the next appointment I found another orthopedic and went there, the contrast on service what amazing and can not be compare. Do not recommend this location"
