"Great food but expensive. Is it worth it? I sure though so! Portions were nice as well. The spare ribs I got were very tender and juicy and fell right off the bone! That Mac and cheese was creamy and paired well! The salmon and rice was good but the salmon was a bit dry. Could have been a bit more moist. The drinks were strong and got me buzzed. I recommend coming during the warmer season with great views and sunset!"

"The perfect example of why monopolies are terrible for consumers... when you're the only restaurant on the river you're guaranteed customers no matter. The calamari was some sort of dusty white plastic in a half-hearted batter. Extremely chewy, cold, and absolutely no taste. Was also served with some ghastly sweet sauce. I know they were understaffed and unprepared, but oh dear what lack of organization."

"It was beautiful! We really were on the Hudson with a good view of the GW bridge, the cloisters and greenery. There was also live music in the corner. There are 2 main areas. One is more in the sun. This area has some couches and umbrellas and there's also tall metal chairs with no shade. I get hot easily and didn't want to bake, so we moved "inside." It's an open air building with ceiling fans. It was perfect. We got a breeze but still were part of the outside experience. No walls. The server was very attentive and repeated everything back to us. They were able to make things spicy or not at all. The family members i was with love alcohol so they all got some kind of fruity drink. I stuck to soda but it was a relatively big glass. In terms of food, everyone liked theirs. I was not feeling great so my experience is not as important except to say that i could get something plain if i wanted. Everyone else tried different tacos and they said they were delish. We also got some sides. The brussel sprouts were fresh and not mushy. We all liked them. Another side was mashed potatoes with parmesan on top. I didn't want any. Nobody really liked it. Earlier, it's worth mentioning that we got Guacamole and chips to share. The chips were homemade and the Guacamole was really good. But i do think they could have given us a bigger portion of Guacamole. By the end of the meal, we were all stuffed but i am always intrigued by sweets. I got a scoop of vanilla and one of chocolate. A very nice hearty portion! There was even whipped cream and some chocolate sauce. So, all in all, I would GO. I don't know when it closes for the season but it's like being in another city. You're far enough away from the traffic that you don't hear it at all!"

"Came here on a Wednesday afternoon after work (4:45pm) with my hubby. Had a Resy reservation, but there was no visible host to receive us. It was more a self serve type of situation as we ordered our food at the ordering station/bar, seated ourselves and picked up our food when our buzzer went off. I’m giving 4 stars because they were out of their “sunset hour” sliders (both beef & pork). We got there super early, so not having their happy hour food in stock is quite unfair and unacceptable to be honest. My hubby had the other remaining sunset hour food option, which was the: - oyster special (6 for $12) He said the oysters were decent. From the regular food menu he had the: - clams casino ($16.95) He said they were decent. I, a vegetarian, had the: - fried cauliflower with BBQ flavor ($12.95) Very generous amount and yummy! - veggie tacos (3 for $13.95) Grateful for this veggie option and I enjoyed, but truthfully not the best veggie tacos I’ve had. Although it wasn’t really what I expected service wise, the food being decent, that scenery however is just amazing (weather permitting of course) as is the vibe, so I absolutely will return during next year’s summer season! P.S. I also LOVE that they have their own photo booth! $6 for 2 photo strips!"

"It pains me to give only 3⭐️s to The Hudson because I think going there is a GREAT EXPERIENCE. But that is due mainly to the incredible views and breeze, which has little to do with the resturuant. That’s NYC, all on its own. We went on a Tuesday evening when it wasn’t very busy at all. Seating took a moment (no one else was waiting), and once we sat it was about 15 minutes before an overworked waiter arrived for our orders (the location is cripplingly understaffed). A couple quick notes: 1) the pins colada was only 1/2 frozen. 2) the Caesar salad had wilted lettuce and red ends. You can see by zooming in on the photo I’ve posted. 3) the short ribs I ordered came with brussel sprouts on the menu but none came with dish. No explanation given either. Getting a waiters attention to amend would have taken another entire evening. 4) the waiter - though kind - only paid attention to me and never made eye contact with my partner in some odd way. This happens on occasion when going out, but the feeling of being ignored by a waiter needed to be shared, even though it was not me who experienced this issue."
