"I was so afraid that no one would come because it was a herring gull. Someone hit him and he was laying on the bridge going into Avalon. Cars wouldn't even stop for me to go get him. Luckily my husband flagged down a cop and he called for us. Steve came to our house so fast I was amazed. He was very nice and knew right away what was wrong with the gull.i am so thankful for him and hope the gull will heal. I will call him next time there is an animal injury."

"Steve is a very friendly knowledgeable guy. A small child and parents dropped off a baby squirrel and he took the time to answer all questions and show the child around. Seems like a great place for the abandoned, hurt, stray, and orphaned animals."
