"The worst. This vet was my dog’s vet for 2+ years, and they just ‘terminated my membership’ for ‘treatment of the staff.’ Dr Prescott called me a couple months ago with some info about my pup, I needed to ask her one more thing while she was hanging up, called right back and the staff said she left. I asked them to check since I was just on the phone with her not even a second ago. They came back with ‘no, she left a bit ago.’ I couldn’t understand how that happened, was incredulous, but not angry nor rude. I even went in when I got a call back from the Vet herself and apologized to the front of house staff if I ever did anything to make them uncomfortable, they assured me they were fine. So now they denied me an appointment for a vaccine, said I couldn’t come back there, would not let me speak to the staff involved, Dr Prescott doesn't work there anymore, nor does Alissa the manager, who knows me, and they would not even let me speak to the current vet in charge. I have never ever treated any staff rudely there, or anywhere I go, and I have never been treated like this in my entire life. The term ‘verbal abuse’ came up, and this is slander. Do not go here."

"When my 23 year old cat, whom they had treated for ten years of her life needed to be put to sleep -- she was in agony-- they refused to sign off on the traveling nurse coming to the house (the nurse needed their sign off in order to administer the necessary end of life medication). The vet on call wanted my cat to come in, even though they knew her problems, had her file, and knew she was in decline. They wanted to run more tests. My cat was always afraid of going to the vet, having been abandoned once before I got her. No way her last moments were going to involve that. I managed to get another vet to come out, but it took an extra day and a half of agony for my poor friend. That vet took one look at my cat's labored bellows breathing and inability to move and agreed immediately it was time to put her down. All beacon vet wanted was to extort more money out of us. Their staff tends to be rude too. Skip them and go to Wappingers instead. I will never recommend Beacon Vet nor use them again. They caused my cat extreme and unnecessary pain. If they go out of business, frankly, I'd celebrate."

"Clean, professional veterinary care. Thorough exam, thorough explanations. Cost are explained for the treatment needed or medicines. The best experience at a vet I’ve had in years. I will go back without hesitation with my kitty. My daughter and son in law will be taking their 2 dogs there as well."

"This was my first visit at beacon vet and I couldn’t be happier. The vet and all of the staff were extremely helpful and professional. They helped walk me thru the process of obtaining a health certificate for my puppy to travel and answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend!!"

"The staff members at Beacon Veterinary Associates are compassionate and thoroughly professional to a person. I’m so grateful to bring my female cat, who is approaching her senior years…as are we, her humans…to this office. They are extra vigilant with her and extra patient with us. Wonderful work!"
