"Carter’s came highly recommended from friends as well as on FB lists of local bars. I was there during Happy Hour and when I ordered a glass of Malbec the manager overhead and offered a suggestion that was $4 cheaper because of HH. The environment is laidback and friendly. John was managing that night, his brother was bartending, and their father was creating magic in the kitchen. John recommended the stuffed clams and they were just as promised. I saw another table sharing a large plate of nachos and I’ll have to go back if for no other reason than to try those."
"I live in Beacon and this is my favorite place. There is also a large beautiful elegant dining room in the back if you have a large party.. The food and drink offerings are excellent in this family owned restaurant and reasonably priced Just go!! I"
"Great food and excellent service. The chicken and waffles and nachos were especially exceptional. The service was phenomenal and extremely attentive. They were also very accommodating of a large group with kids."
"Great meal and doing experience. We're considering having a wedding in the area. We had heard that Carter's did catering with our potential venue and had just walked in to have lunch. When we told the waiter we were interested in their catering, he got the owner, John, who took the time to sit down with us and describe their catering packages and to get to know us. His kindness and service were outstanding, and the food was delicious!"
"What a great experience! The Vibe of the restaurant is friendly and inviting. The Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, we had the Tomato Bisque soup, Stuffed Mushrooms and Mussels in white wine and garlic. We happened to be there on an evening that they had live music which kept the crowd going. John the owner could not have been more gracious. We will be back for sure!"
