"I have been waiting 10 months for M&Y Mechanical to return my deposit for services never completed. They ignore my phone calls. I have reported them to The Better Business Bureau. I advice everyone not to use this dishonest company"

"M & Y stands by their work. About a year ago, the company installed a new air handler in our attic that ended up listing (i.e., the air handler was not level) such that a friend of mine who is a contractor noticed this recently when I called him to repair a roof leak in the area where the air handler was located (which turned out to be the air handler leaking). M & Y sent out two technicians within two business days of being advised of the issue who arrived 45 minutes EARLY and worked on leveling/rehanging the unit as well as insulating some of the pipes going in and out of it to prevent condensation/leaking. In addition, they sprayed down the coils inside the unit with a special spray, working a total of approximately 3 hours on all these issues, and when they were done, the technicians took a picture of the now-level unit using MY LEVEL, not theirs, to demonstrate that the re-hanging of the unit had been successful. The total charge for all of this work--essentially, just the M & Y standard service call fee--was very reasonable and was adjusted in this case specifically because M & Y stood by its initial work performed one year ago. This company is one of the few out there which "does the right thing." Thank you, M & Y, for doing so."

"this company charged my father-in-law triple of what other companies charge to do the same maintenance job on the HVAC system for commercial building. a couple of weeks after the job was done the whole system failed. they said their work was guaranteed and we have tried and tried to call in order to get this issue resolved to no response. had to hire another company who did the job for three times less and also in less time than these guys"
