"Avoid this company. They sent a technician to fix our window unit. He told us it couldn't be fixed and handed us a bill for $125. We then asked the company to replace the unit. They said no problem, and they would apply the $125 to the cost of replacing it. They never called us back, so we called them multiple times over the next 5 days and left multiple messages - and they never called back. Awful experience."

"If I could give this place zero stars then I absolutely would. I'm still in shock by their actions especially since they have amazing reviews. I asked them to come do a diagnostic on 2 PTAC units in my home ($150). In the process of doing the diagnostic, the tech took it upon himself to repair the unit even though we mentioned to him to simply do a diagnostic and if he were to fix the problem, tell us the cost to fix it. No, clearly that's not what he did. He fixed the one unit right on the spot- no parts were necessary- and he wanted us to pay him an additional $150. What???! Then on top of that he diagnosed the other unit and it had the same issue as the other one he fixed yet he wanted an additional $350. Insane!! Like does the math make sense to you b/c it doesn't to us. Management called us, apologized on behalf of their tech for fixing the unit without telling us the cost upfront. Management still wanted to charge us though even though they apologized- that wasn't happening. We paid the diagnostic fee of $150 and that was it. This company is shady and they don't value real customer service. I would NEVER hire them again."

"I have waited about a week to write this review to give an honest opinion of the service provided. Initially an older tech came out because my a/c was not working he worked on it told me it was fixed,the next morning it stopped again Harman was sent out that night and I’ll be honest when he arrived I was not confident he would fix it due to him looking so young I was completely wrong he was so knowledgeable and actually fixed my a/c unit, it has been working for over a week now. Never judge a book by its cover i am so ashamed of myself for jumping to conclusions upon his arrival. I was just very aggravated sitting in a 92 degree house after I was told it was fixed. Harman was able to explain what was happening to my system in a way that actually made sense to me unlike the first technician. Harman is a great guy with a good sense of humor even in a tough situation like that night. I will continue to use AC - PTAC - AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE IN NEW YORK and will be asking for Harman when I have an issue, one mistake can be forgiven I’m glad my unit is working properly now."

They immediately fixed what was wrong and also did our complete service on the Air conditioner. They were so trustworthy that we left the house completely comfortable with them there and our belongings were all safe and sound. "I've never had a more pleasant experience dealing with contractors than I have with AC- PTAC - AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE IN NEW YORK, BROOKLYN, MANHATTAN. Their professionalism and thoroughness is the best I've ever seen. I'm so happy I selected them to replace my HVAC unit. I did extensive research and obtained estimates from some of the other, highly-reviewed companies in the area and selected HVAC service because they were honest, thorough and had very competitive pricing. The County decided to be nit-picky and HVAC Experts was diligent in following up to ensure everything was taking care of, in a timely manner. I can't say enough of how wonderful Prince is and how pleasant MJ was to work with. (I wish I could contract them for my next home improvement project: kitchen remodeling, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed I find amazing contractors like them). They get an A+ from me and I will be recommending them to my friends and family."
