"I worked for Code Black Security as a armed guard for this location. This site is run terribly. Please be advised before you move here that this is a low income housing project. The people that live here are no better than inmates in a maximum security prison. They are struggling and angry and very very combative to any and everyone. The building management office is lacking in skill and professionalism. The heavy set black woman with a weave is by far the most difficult, condescending and lazy woman I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. I called her several times for numerous issues that I noticed as an officer and she does nothing. She once did not want to handle removing ice from a handicap parking spot for a long time tenant who may be over 80 years old with a walker. I walked the woman through a mountain of ice covering the parking spot she has held for years because the heavy set black building manager did nothing and left ice there after a storm. How cold is that? Do your research, visit this location and speak with other people that live here before moving here. You will find that you are saving yourself a world of trouble by choosing another location."

"Me and my son have been living here for 10 years and I can honestly say this place is absolutely trash. If it isn't the hoodlums who sell drugs from their apartments, it's the rodents that infect our apartments. The main office doesn't seem to care about either issue. But they sure are quick to remind you when rent is due. Ive been dealing with rodents since November and all they do is hand me mouse traps to handle is myself. Really ? If you know what's good for you, you would stay the hell away from oak park apartments"

"I moved from Oakpark last year it used to be the nicest community now it is a dump they have mice almost as big as children they let anybody in there now where they used to be very selective about who moved in there when I lived there it was for 26 years I recommend don’t get apartment it here."
