"My first of all I agree with every comment. My mother has recently moved down to Florida after having 2 strokes and being in shore gardens nursing home in toms river, which they have neglected her. She gets her prescriptions from Dr Patel, for whom she was seeing, and I must say that the receptionist Megan has to be the most ignorant and rude person I have ever dealt with over the phone. She has hung up on us 5 times and all we needed was to get an approval from the doctor so my mom can get her prescriptions refilled down here in Florida since there were no refills sent even though we were told that would happen. Do you think this is outright neglect? We absolutely feel that this is, if not borderline. But hospitality is at it's all time low at this facility. If you don't want a job then get off the payroll."

"This was the overseeing practice for a recent hospitalization I had at Kimball (MMC-SC) and they messed up the discharge meds and failed to return pages FROM THE HOSPITAL STAFF for eight hours. If I'd come home with what they'd prescribed I would have been back in the hospital in 36 hours."

"DO NOT GO HERE! If you care about your health or health of your loved ones, don't go here. They don't care at all about their patients. My father and uncle both go to this practice and tested positive for covid on Friday. We got a televist with a doctor on friday after my cousin called multiple times. The doctor told them to take Tylenol. They're both in their 60s/70s and when they started not feeling well we called the answering service over the weekend to get advice on further treatment. No one called back. After multiple attempts to get a callback, the answering service called back to tell us no one from the practice would be calling back and to try again on Monday. They do not care about their patients."

"I have been going here for years; although I totally know they're not the best, I never cared to give them a review because I'm only in and out of the Doctors office for physical forms that are a requirement and pretty much I am very healthy. My physical was done in August 2020 and due to this pandemic, I did not have the Employee physical form with me the day of the appointment on the 12th. Long story short, the Doctor and nurse told me, no problem, just drop off the form whenever you get it and they will take care of it. I received the form from HR on December by mail, so I dropped it off at the Doctor's office on Dec. 10th. The nurse called me at the end of the day to inform me that Doctor Pineles refuses to sign the form because I needed another follow up appointment. Shocked, I asked the nurse why. The nurse kept saying because that's what the Doctor said. I told the nurse that I'm not sick and all I needed was for the Doctor to sign the form from my last physical to provide my employer. She put me on hold, and told me that she spoke to the Doctor and he is not signing the form because I needed to come in for a "physical follow up!" Reminded the nurse that my last physical was only 4 months ago, TB test was neg and gave the nurse dozens of reasons not to visit them, especially, because I am not sick and who wants to visit the Doctors office in the middle of a pandemic. Three weeks later, with no physical form to provide my employer, and back and forth with them, I was forced to make another appointment. At the time of the visit, the Doctor asked me the reason for my visit!!! Upset, I told him "You tell me, I'm only here because I need my physical form signed and you refused to sign the paper and was told I needed a follow up physical!" Doctor Pineles replied was, "Who told you I refuse to sign your physical form, I always sign the forms, unless there's a reason." Explained everything to him all over again, physical was just done, called the office several times but was told repeatedly that you refused to sign the form. In the end, Doctor Pineles signed the form. He asked me the reason why the form was not brought to him before and I had to explain to him that we're not in the building, and everyone is working from home since March due to the pandemic in which all he said was, "Well, now is signed." No apology and no empathy. Waste of my time, all for him to sign a physical form! Long story short, I'm done with this Doctor!!"

"Oh my freakingod... The level of rudeness from the staff here is something I would expect to experience at the Motor Vehicle Office on Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving. Rude, nasty, uncaring, unprofessional, snotty, crotchety and recalcitrant. You would think calling them would be a little easier on the senses; NO... the stink attitude permeates right through the receiver holes. . A little hint for the staff there: The patients who come through the door are ALREADY feeling bad... they wouldn't be gracing your wonderful office to see and experience your charming dispositions if they were feeling good. . TRY NOT TO MAKE THEM FEEL WORSE! BTW: this professional office assistant kept this professional position long enough for me to actually get out my camera and take a photo.... How ridiculous is this? Is this how you want your front desk pro to look?"
