About the Business
Valley Day Care Center is a nurturing and educational institution located at 337 Peekskill Hollow Road in Putnam Valley, New York. Our mission is to help your child take their first step towards a lifetime of successful learning. Our toddler program focuses on kindness, sharing, and communication skills through play and social interaction. Circle time includes movement and hands-on activities to develop color, shape, emotion, letter, and number recognition. Weekly specials such as dance, music, and science enhance the learning experience.
For PK 3 & PK 4, we utilize the award-winning Learning Without Tears math and literacy program to build a strong foundation for education. Our curriculum includes fine art, theater, music, science, and dance to make learning fun and interactive. We believe that every child can learn in their own unique way, and we tailor our approach to meet individual needs. Our goal is to prepare your child for kindergarten and beyond.
Valley Day Care & Preschool is licensed through NYS OCFS and owned by Greg and Brooke Donohue, who personally oversee daily operations. Our dedicated staff of teachers ensures the highest standard of care and education for every child. Safety is our top priority, especially during the current pandemic. We have implemented CDC guidelines and additional measures to protect our students and staff.
We welcome future Valley families to schedule a private tour and learn more about what makes our institution special. Masks are required for adults and children over 2 years old during tours.
