The Boulevard

"Good Value The former Mariner Hotel is now under the same management as the Sea Spray Hotel. This is important to note because the desk at the Boulevard Hotel is sometimes left unattended and you may have to go to the Sea Spray (a short drive away) to check in. In addition it is difficult to get maid service or more towels. There is an option to request service on your TV, but this was not successful for us. The hotel does however have some very nice attributes 1) The pool - it is heated and there are likely only about 40 rooms in the entire hotel so it is not very crowded. There are large 3-4 feet sections which are great for kids. Deepest section is 5 feet. No lifeguard on duty and no pool towels. 2) The room is nice for the money. Some odd things that just don't make sense. Ice bucket in the room but no ice machine in the hotel. The room refrigerator is a wine fridge, which makes it hard to utilize the space inside. There are no screens on the patio doors, so keeping the door open and enjoying the breeze is tricky. The TV does easily get YouTube, Netflix etc if you have a login. Wifi does not have great speed. There is a very nice rooftop area to bring your own food or drinks. There is plenty of parking. 3) Location - with a beach cart it is easily walkable to the beach. Across the street is MENSA which is OK. Good for gluten free options. Also very close to Lomito and California Pizza Grill and Ship Bottom Ice Cream. Liquor store is very close. For a sit down dining experience, Terrace Tavern is a good choice."

"5 minute walk to the beach. We were able to park our car on site since we arrived early and use the bathroom and pool. Rooms were nice, good size fridge and microwave. I didn't give 5 stars because the AC was about 6 inches from the bed and it was very uncomfortable to have it blowing directly on you."

"Hotel newly renovated, clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It’s a smaller hotel but it was perfect for our stay. 2nd floor had a nice pool table sitting area and the 3rd floor offers a beautiful peaceful rooftop with plenty of seating and umbrellas. Played soft music throughout the hotel making it very relaxing. Perfect location barely needed my car walking distance to wawa, food, ice cream shop, water sports. A few Blocks from both beach and cross the street 2 blocks to the bay. Perfect watching sunrise/sunset. Looking forward to returning to the Boulevard Hotel in the future."

"Wonderful hotel ! Location: Within a few blocks from restaurants, Wawa, liquor store, Marvel bakery and ice cream shop. Two blocks to beach. I barely needed my car. Room: clean, modern, new, microwave, fridge and Keurig. Lots of outlets, including USB ports. Iron, hair dryer and shampoo, conditioner and soap/ body wash. Under the tv console is a table on wheels that pulls out with chairs so you can eat and then roll it back when done. Our balcony overlooked the pool and had a little table and 2 chairs. Property / Service: very friendly staff. Cute lobby. 2nd floor has a free pool table! 3rd floor has rooftop deck with tons of seating areas. Pool was clean, I saw a man check it numerous times a day and it was sparkling clean. Planters with flowers and market lights, plenty of umbrellas. The owners clearly know that attention is in the details. Was more affordable than my usual go to hotels too!! Will definitely return! Adorable boutique hotel."

"Pleasantly surprising hotel! Really a grand slam all around. Excellent updates throughout but maintained a beachy hotel feel. Very laid back and easy going but attentive staff! Laura at the front desk was a delight! The pool was great and beach access from their sister hotel was wonderful! If we could give it more stars we would!"
