"I went recently after a break and was so shocked by how much things cost at this location - they’re higher than anywhere I’ve seen in NYC (or the rest of the US). Either management needs to learn how to negotiate supplier prices better or they really need to get real about their prices and how it’s affecting people’s ability to feed themselves. I went to buy ingredients for grilled cheese and soup and below are the prices. Plain Yogurt - $6 (organic, the cheapest version) White bread (the cheapest version) - $6. Their homemade bread is $8. What? Sargento Sliced Cheddar Cheese - $6 ($2.30 at Target) Amy’s Canned Soup - $6 ($3.89 at Target) I bought 8 items (2 organic) and it was $50! $50 for a small grocery run! It’s a shame that staff, management, everything else is great. Truly - a clean place with good availability, hours and staff. But damn they deserve a bad review for the prices. I’ve brought this up to them before and nothing really happens. I try to avoid going unless it’s an emergency or weather is bad."

"UPDATE: It was a mistake and I am VERY POSITIVELY surprised by your quick response. To leave a feedback on topic: Yes, the store is overpriced - but most of the markets in the area are overpriced. However , Food Garden market is trying their best to have an appropriate quality to the prices. For example, most of the produce is organic, and it's always fresh. The store itself is organized and clean. They also have a very good selection. Also they have a lot of staff, so maybe it explains why they are considered pricey. They need to pay salaries. ____________________________________ I can't give more than this to the store that ignores the Russian invasion but gladly puts up a poster for the anti-american event where Hamas narrative is being pushed. Today you lost dozens of customers."

"Very upscale, friendly staff, amazing selection and reasonably priced with most things it seems. My salad was $13 but it was custom and I got a lot of stuff. Medium soup was only $5 and slices of pizza were 2 something and 3 something with toppings. Lots of premade food too. I came in for a salad and left with a lot more than I expected."
