"The most disturbing intersection in Rockland"

"Google walking directions directs you to walk through this very pedestrian unfriendly road. It's not safe on foot! People do walk it and I sprinted through with the light one day. Today, I got pics of some driver behavior and believe people are running the light because they know about the delay and push it a bit. See the posted pictures of vehicles exiting the tunnel while approaching cars already have a green arrow."

"This is an old-fashioned tunnel. It is from the horse-and-buggy times, so it only contains one lane and is bi-directional controlled via a traffic light. Above the tunnel runs the train tracks for the NJ MTA Transit, still in operation today."

"Cool historic short tunnel in the middle of modern society"

"It's a rather old small tunnel under a railroad. One lane only. It has a traffic light to prevent head on cars from turning into mush... Traffic does seem to move so the wait to enter the tunnel is not insane, however, once you cross the tunnel be prepared for heavy traffic in the area. Regardless, it's not necessary to use this tunnel as Clarkstown road is an acceptable, yet often more congested solution! Enjoy that narrow tunnel!"
