"I live in East Harlem but this Trader Joe's, some 100 blocks south of me is my local supermarket. I have a few theories about the practices of this magnificent shopping emporium. They do a great job hiding the unhealthy food and will only hire you if you treat every customer discreetly like royalty. Not happy with a prior purchase? Your attending clerk will ring a large, brass, wall-mounted ship's bell and your purchase will be credited by a roving supervisor, no questions asked. You will be asked whether you had found everything you were looking for "today?" Well, truthfully, not always, but why dampen the enthusiasm? If you crave fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy salads and sandwiches, this is the place for you. I always compliment the clerk standing on the platform directing the stream of single file customers to numbered cashiers. "Nothing ever happens around here without you!" They smile knowingly. Marvelous!"
"Ok, so basically, Trader Joe’s is my go-to store for groceries because they have great prices and deals, high quality food, and very kind and helpful staff that will help you find your food. Trader Joe’s also has a very wide variety and selection of your food of choice, so you will always have a lot of options. Highly recommended. The best grocery store in all of New York City."
"One of the busier Trader Joe’s I have been to especially on a weekend evening. I had no idea there was a TJ around Union Square. It’s pretty much like most TJ they have great selection of sauces and frozen food. Not a large selection of meat and seafood but enough to get by."
