"Neighborhood grocer. Very clean and tighty. Hot food and soup counter. Bakery and good selection of local baked breads. Go early the bread is gone by 3-3:30 pm. Large selections of domestic and international foods. The larger store (Ferry St) carries more variety. Seabra Stores are Pricey both NJ and Mass. Frequent language spoken here is Portuguese, Spanish and English. Go and check it out."

"Today I visited seabra supermarket for the first time and was racially profiled by the security office. I understand that they have a job to do so I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it’s unacceptable ,out of a store full of people he followed me my wife and my 2 year old son for the entire time. He even picked his own shopping cart to pretend to shop while trailing behind us. My wife was the one who brung it to my attention that he was following us and at first I believed she was mistaken but all it took was a few glances back to see how obvious he was following us. To be profiled and discriminated against by another minority who’s people also had to overcome many of the same issues is really sad to say the least"

"If you’re African American, please don’t go to this store. I felt so harassed since the security guard followed me and my family around the entire shopping process. Though I could have walked out and not spend my money here I stayed because I wanted him to feel ashamed after realizing we weren’t here to steal but instead just shop for groceries like everyone else. Though he probably don’t care. We were the only black customers in the store and I felt so hurt so hurt, that was so heart breaking being followed every aisle we went to he was there, I wish I was making this up. After we finish paying for our stuff we realized we forgot to get lettuce, I turned around guess who is in the other aisle watching us the security guard, I finally brought it to my husband attention, since I’m pregnant and got super emotional, he asked the cashier why is the security following us around, she was kind and apologetic which was very kind. Please train your security guard to not profile black people, or anyone in general, we came to shop and we paid for our groceries! He will be the very reason I do not return to this supermarket. Thanks to the kind cashier who apologized."

"It was a good place till last week the goverment recall all papayas from Mexico because of salmonella bacteria, but this place still sell them, when i call they got the nerve to ask me for the receipt and the product, like i care about the couple dollars i spend on it. My real concern is the public health and they should know about it."
