"La Esquina was so cute! Such a small restaurant to enjoy light tacos!"
"Firstly, there is no sign that says La Esquina. It says The Corner Deli on the outside of the restaurant. Secondly, their food is now different and priced three times higher than what is shown in the pictures. Thirdly, I paid $16 for this salad. It’s tiny, and only has some avocado, a few tortilla strips, and a sprinkle of cheese on it. It’s supposed to also have nopales, onions, and almonds. I should have checked the bag before I left. I totally got ripped off. Do not be tempted by the salad pictures. All of the photos of food and menus on this description are old and no longer accurate."
"Our meal was very delicious and that staff was very courteous. The only thing we didn’t like was the drink called “Jamaica” which was not as flavorful as we thought it would be. Every thing else that we ordered was great and we will definitely return for dinner."
"This place always is a great stop! I love how much outdoor seating they have, especially on a nice summer day it's wonderful to sit outside and sip margaritas with some guac! I recommend the spicy jalapeño margarita for drinks, it does have a nice kick! Go with a pitcher if there are 4 of you or more, def worth it. I love their queso flameado, top it with mushrooms and it's a great combo - almost feels like you're eating a quesadilla :) Overall: Good guac, great steak and shrimp tacos, love the mushroom add on option to anything! Wish they had a better wait system, on busy nights it would be nice to leave my phone numbers / have an app to let us know when our table is ready. Right now it's all done via a list so you have to stand and wait."
"I was so disappointed. Before even tasting anything, let me start by portion sizes. Oh man! Never been to a Mexican restaurant where the portions were so small. Even the guac and chips... Definitely not shareable. The Chicken Tacos and Steak Tacos we're kids meals. Worse part... The meat used for th steak tacos was Steak-Umm. The same near used for Philly Cheesesteaks (chop cheese). On a positive note, the staff was super nice and attentive and the restaurant was cozy and beautiful."
