"Nice mom and pop shop that has a variety of items on the menu that you can choose. The smell as soon as you walk in the door captivates you and makes you want to try the tacos. "This is hands down the best Mexican food in the area. The restaurant is bare bones, but that only increases the charm. The take out and delivery versions of the cuisine are just as good as eating it right there. I have been a happy customer for many, many years. Their food is fresh, authentic, tasty, and made with love. And during the pandemic, when many of us were just plain freaked out, being able to continue to have this food in our lives was like a big hug. One bite and you just knew everything was going to be all right. Stand outs that are not on the recommendation choices below are the Alambres, the Veggie Quesadilla, Chivos (Goat) Dinner (when you can get it), the Chilate (a spicy, savory chicken soup that is just astonishing and I swear helped me get over a cold one time), the homemade Sangria, the homemade Flan, the homemade Horchata, and the best Guacamole I have ever had anywhere in the world. The service, either dining in or delivery, is consistently kind and courteous. Many thanks to Jorge and his family for providing some of the most delicious Mexican food I have ever had. May your restaurant reign our neighborhood forever."
"Overall this was a great experience! The chips and salsa were complimentary and tasty! The staff was friendly! The Birria tacos were delicious! The variety of individual tacos we ordered tasted great, and they definitely were not stingy on any meat filling. The only downside was the chicken enchilada plate - it lacked flavour (the enchiladas) and the sauce was a little sour. But overall, we would definitely go back!"
