"I found this place because I was craving Italian food! This menu was great to fulfill my craving. I didn't expect this place also have ambience! I got penne alla vodka because it's my go to Italian Dish! I was so stuffed from it and they also give complimentary bread, which is nice and thinly sliced. The drinks were so strong but also tasty! What made this experience even better was the server, Angel. She is indeed an Angel - so nice, tons of menu knowledge and went above and beyond to make our experience great. Totally recommend and will be back."

"Came here. It happened to be a parade. We ordered an appetizer and a few drinks. We stayed for a little bit however, in that time the check was handed to me two times. I then paid and decided to stay for a cocktail then was told i could not because someone was waiting for the table. There were ample amount of tables and no line nor reservations. It has now been over 30 minutes and the table had not been occupied. Not sure if they were homophobic or did not have respect for people that were not regulars."

"We had a reservation downtown for a friend's birthday dinner last Friday but the celebrant suddenly was running late and the original restaurant couldn't accommodate anything past 10 mins from the original reserved time. So off we scrambled to find a restaurant in Resy that can accommodate a group of 10 at 7pm on Friday. I also thought of this place as I've seen the wonderful reviews in the past. So I decided to call and they were able to squeeze us in. We were given a long table and basically had our own little section upon entering. The place wasn't big but just right, with a nice bar and great music. Pretty good vibe. My husband and I weren't drinking but everyone loved the drinks especially the Holy Water. We also kicked it off with the Fritto Mix for 2 which had wings, mozarella sticks, calamari and popcorn shrimp with various sauces on the side. We enjoyed it. For entrées, most of the group ordered the Ribeye and we unanimously agreed it was pretty good as well as the green beans that came with it. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmigiana dish and enjoyed it. We also ordered Spaghetti Bolognese just so we know how good their pastas are and it was delicious. For desserts, we ordered flan, gelato, and the Tortino al Cioccolato with ice cream and this was a hit. The music also became better and better as the evening went by. Service was warm and attentive. Interestingly, unlike other restaurants here that'll automatically charge you 20% or higher for big groups, they actually only charged us 18%, which made it easier for us to decide to add more gratuity of course. We also met Laura, the owner of the restaurant, as she was pretty nice and hands on. Thanks Laura and Team, for making it an enjoyable evening for all of us!"

"We came here for a romantic night which wasn’t the vibe/set up of the restaurant when we arrived. This is more of a party with a friend or for an exciting night out. The music was loud, so be prepared to jam out and have to sit next to each other if you want to talk at a regular level. The outside set up of the place was nice and welcoming, while the indoors set up was party like but also welcoming. We went on a Saturday night and noticed there was only 1 server and 1 waiter, which was felt in the service. We got the Bruschetta, lemon chicken, and spaghetti & meatballs. The food was tasty, very well seasoned to reflect the neighborhood where soul food is popular, but a little too seasoned for me. I enjoyed myself with the music and food, and had an ok experience. Good place for a night out alone or with a friend."
