"Went here with my family to grab a quick lunch and was throughly surprised about how good it was. The burritos were the way to go I heard and they were correct! I would recommend ordering a burrito. The service was very good, they also have a great drink selection too. I would recommend this place for anyone."

"The food is good. The soup is really good. Owner/chef is personable. I especially enjoyed the pork mole taco and side of refried beans."

"Well priced and very tasty food. This is my first time here but it is definitely not my last time. I've seen several fine restaurants go through here, but I hope this one stays. I had a pint of the chicken tortilla soup, a rumchata cupcake, and a side of Mexican street corn. Everything was great. I highly recommend ordering ahead, everything to my knowledge is made in house. Regardless, you should try this place if you are in the mood for well portioned, reasonably priced, and good food. Also the owner is clearly dedicated and passionate with his craft. Plus he's pretty personable and nice to talk to."

"I called for a pick up order on a random Thursday after a long work day and not wanting to make supper. My kids wanted tacos and burritos. I’d rather support small business than big chains so I took a chance. I asked the guy if the burritos were big and he assured me they would be enough for two meals. This is not typical Mexican food that I’ve had. I recently relocated back to NJ from California and enjoyed Jalisco style street tacos that are to me authentic, two tiny palm size flour tortilla with just meat raw onions, cilantro and lime wedge. This style was cooked on a flattop grill as it was soft and warm but also a little hard from crisping from the heat. The chicken and pork was like a pulled stewed consistency with a sweet tang and no heat so my kids enjoyed it. There was cabbage and cheese, not what I was used to , but not a bad thing, just different. The burrito was not the over laden with rice and brands torpedo that I was used to, this was meat heavy and rice and beans afterwards style. The tortilla was grilled and then wrapped. The flavor according to my kids was “fire” I’m old and not cool so i guess that means really good haha. I had a salad, there were pistachios, dried cherries, pickled onions and spinach and other greens. He asked me if I wanted to try a different dressing he has just concocted. I did. It was a tad heavy on he EVOO for my taste. Maybe bc it had separated by the time I ate it. Over all there was a lot of flavor in this food that I want to try again. I was also talked into the tres leches cake and glad I did it, it was worth the caloric surplus. My only issue was they didn’t have tacos alpastor. I know it’s a silly complaint but it is my favorite. The man helping me was very friendly and seems like a chill guy you could enjoy a taco with. Next time I think I’ll try the birrra and the fish tacos. Hasta lluego."
