Ridgewood Club Apartments

"Only reason you should ever consider living here is if they are the cheapest apartments you can get. Maintenance is non existent: the entry door to our building was broken for the entire time I rented here despite numerous complaints. There is a serious roach problem in multiple different buildings. The "dog park" listed as an amenity is a fenced in dirt area that is not ever maintained by staff. The most interaction you will ever receive from the landlord company is a threatening note on your door about things other tenants have been doing in communal areas. The staff that works in the rental office are very nice and understanding, it is not in any way their fault but their bosses'. Also, the parking lot flooding issue has not been fixed, it is impassable for smaller cars after a heavy rain. Terrible apartments, avoid at all costs because it's not worth even the cheap price they've set."

"Been living here a little over a year. Was happy to hear that we were getting under new management as the last office staff was incredibly rude. Tru Hall has been understanding, genuine, and the most helpful property manager I have met in a while. He takes professionalism to a whole new level and does so with grace. If anyone is looking for not only nice apartments but good management, the best time is right now because Tru is the TRUTH! Now maintenance is different, our original maintenance men were amazing. This new one ( ISAAC) doesn’t seem to like his job much so has an attitude when doing so. But our office people are amazing!"

"I have lived here over year and in that time have had 3 management companies. The current co has awesome staff from Kenisha in the office who is exceptional at her job. She goes above and beyond and always takes the time to address all your needs while extremely busy and does it with a great attitude!!!! Love her!! The maintenance crew Felix and Ulysses are also awesome!! I couldn’t ask for a better maintenance team! They go above and beyond very knowledgeable and customer service couldn’t be better!! Love them!!! Thank you all for doing such a great job!!!!!"

"This is ridiculous! I'm not surprised being that everything around here HAS fell short of addressing, understanding, and meeting the tenants needs. This picture was earlier this morning. I'm no longer on the premises. This parking lot flooding issue needs to be addressed. This is quite the recipe for a cake in the face of the ones who have kept up their rent payments, when others weren't making that a priority. In this day and time, you can't just trust anyone to come in your home for "maintenance". This is a great disappointment and liability. At least, Mr. Love was honest, respectful, empathetic and just like another family member. He took great pride in maintaining this complex, like it was his own and the tenants were made to feel like guest instead of unexpected freeloaders. God bless us all and we'll continue to pray that God will. Be extremely safe during these and all times."

"I have lived at Ridgewood Club Apartments for 8 months now. I have not had any issue with getting things fixed in my apartment. The two ladies who work in the office are very pleasant and professional. It is obvious that their goal is to make you welcome and comfortable living in the community. There are a couple things that are still in needing of repair around the complex, but I understand they took the property over within the past year. Parking lot is a wreck as far as a pot holes being everywhere and the hallway; which divides the units needs painting and new carpeting. Neighbors can be inconsiderate and loud as well, but you encounter that at other complexes. I reside in a two-bedroom unit. Is very spacious and perfect for my living needs. The only other downside is that the hot water only stays hot for 5 minutes when showering and water pressure is not so good. However, it is very convenient to the interstate and just a minute to town center in Virginia Beach."
