"Macado's what is going on with y'all's service? We came in to celebrate the new Year. Normally this placed was packed but now I understand why it wasn't. There were two people working the bar but they were the only people actually working. Servers were drinking on the job (even telling us that they had been drinking). We ordered drinks and food and would have been probably more but we never got our food, it took two hours to get an answer as to why. We had to walk up to the bar to even get a drink at points because he was so busy while every other server in the bar area was just hanging around. 20 minutes past midnight and they are ringing the bell and telling us to wrap up our drinks. Who ever is managing this restaurant is not doing a great job. This placed used to be packed and now it's not for a obvious reason. I'm a long time fan of Macado's. Love the food and atmosphere but without good service people won't care and they will leave. I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears because after last night, all I can see is this location closing."
"Normally I order from the vinton location but doordash ordered from this one instead, first off they have a 80% water and added a dash of lemonade, gave me watered down tea that wasn’t sweet tea, forgot the damn cheese sauce and tried to argue with me about it if I just order $50 worth of food think imma be a Jew about cheese sauce? Nah I just want what I ordered, didn’t give any condiments, sliver ware or straws, I’d go to the vinton location this one sucks, customer service is awful knowing damn well you didn’t put the cheese sauce in the bag and wanna argue( picture of the watered down so called lemonade)"
"The staff, the food, the prices, the portions and the really cool atmosphere is what gave this place 5 stars for me. I read the back story of Macado's and was really impressed with the owners attention to detail. You can tell this person cares. Thank-you for offering generous portions for a very reasonable price."
"Can’t say enough good things. The food is amazing. Fish and chip are the second best I’ve ever had. Sandwiches are just as good. Macado’s is one of my favorite places. Cole Slaw isn’t to my taste. They deserve 7 stars out of 5."
