"Large parking area, nice trails, plenty of wildlife, birds, and beavers mainly. Go during the evening and watch the sun set, it was stunning. Also stay plenty far away from the swans. The male was watching us very intensly and stalking us. But I told my daughter he was just watching over his family."

"I frequent this park often for running, kayaking or biking with my family. Recently it seems the lawn care has forgotten to blow off the path every time they cut the grass. It is covered with sticks and grass making for tripping hazards while running. Sadly, this is just adding to the litter people leave behind to trip over as well. I have also found that people often bring their pups unleashed. It can be very frustrating as I often bring my dog and small children along with me. It can be intimidating and unsafe. I love the park, I just wish others did as well! (It is also a gorgeous place to go birding! There are lots of large birds on the Petersburg end of the trail.)"

"Nice area to just walk or run next to the river. There are little trails closer to the river or a paved path a little farther away from the river. Plenty of places to sit and history to read about!"
