"Out of all parks in colonial heights, this is the best. Has it all. Trails, fishing, wild life, shelters and picnic tables. Lots of history. No BBQ pits, but seen other people bring their own. Can be busy at times especially on weekends and nice days out. If have pets keep them on leash. Some people don't and have seen two to three dogs get into it."

"Great trails to walk your dog on. There’s a platform at the end that looks over the swift creek that’s very nice."

"This park is awesome! A nice little escape from the noise and traffic of the city. There are several places to sit and a very nice wrap around trail through the woods. There is a small pier/dock at the very end of the trail that is great for catching some decent sized catfish. If your looking for a nice quiet piece of nature inside of Colonial Heights give this place a visit."
