"I stayed here 2 summers with my four grandkids. We stayed on the river all day both weekends and had a blast. The owner brought our wood down with kindling and matches. Very rustic and private!"

"We absolutely love this place! We have stayed lots of places some nicer than others but nothing tops Camp Karma. It always feels like coming home. Lin works hard and is always there to greet us when we arrive. She is fair, helpful, warm, and welcoming. She takes pride in her work and it shows. The sites and property are well taken care of. The outhouses and the bathrooms/showers are always immaculate and well stocked. The sites are large and private. It’s quiet other than the beautiful sounds of nature. Other campers have always been friendly and quiet. We plan to spend as much time as possible here. Thank you Lin and Camp Karma for all you do!"

"Fantastic experience! Lin is warm and welcoming! Her campground is quiet, quaint and comfortable! Enjoyed the entire experience from check in to the stay! The bathroom and showers are top notch and nothing beats a hot shower after a long hike in a super clean shower! Definitely will stay again and can’t wait to get back and Unwind after weeks of city living! The mountain river was perfect for lounging in and relaxing! Might be just the mountains or time of year (mid July) but I did not get bit by a single mosquito! Thank you again Lin!"

"Sometimes you have to be forced into a good thing.... Like say... green beans. We were late on booking a campsite for Memorial Day weekend and Lin was the only host that had something available. And boy, were we glad that was the case. We are cyclists and we are often on the road camping. There are very few spots that I have really want to go back to and Camp Karma has become one of them. This campground is a hidden jewel. Lin is an outstanding host with a great vision and great attitude. Plentiful and VERY clean private bathrooms. Outhouses throughout the campground . A very quite spot to cool down on the river at the bottom of the campground. Large field for kids to run around. It is only about ten miles from Smith Mountain Lake and maybe about 15 miles from Roanoke. The area is spectacular for cycling of any kind (road, mountain and gravel) I am definitely going back... Thank you Lin and we are looking forward to seeing you again."
