"This is a very rocky steep trail that is narrow and dangerous but the result is amazing so I’d recommend it for anyone that is decently I. Shape and has ever hiked on a trail. Plan on it taking you twice as long to get to the top as it does to get back down….. great exercise and beautiful views… met several very nice people along the hike and that was cool because I was solo so it’s always nice to have a friendly conversation when you are on a treacherous hike like this one lol."

"Beautiful trail- 3 miles round trip. Keep in mind it is very steep at the beginning but the summit is worth it. I've been hiking for years and the first mile still took the wind out of me. Finding the B-25 isn't too difficult just continue down a path right between the summit and Buzzards roost for about a quarter mile. It has bright orange markers tied to the trees as you get close. It is veryyy steep but a cool place to check out. Highly recommend!"

"I really enjoyed the hike on Sharp Top Mountain. The parking lot was pretty much full, but the trail wasn't crowded at all. The people whom I encountered on the hike were friendly, which made the experience that much better. The views were awesome, and the trail was in very good shape."

"This trail kicked my backside! I’m 45 years old and in less than peak shape but I’m usually pretty good when I go hiking. However, the name should have been a clue for me that this was going to be a steep climb. That said, I made it to the top in just the nick of time to catch the last 10 minutes of sun before it set over the western sky. Totally glad I pushed myself to make it but if you are questioning your hiking ability, put your pride and your backside in the shuttle and enjoy the ride!"

"What an amazing hike. It’s short but challenging. Take your time, as it um an get rocky in certain areas. There are steps, steps, and more steps. The views are some of the best that I’ve seen in Virginia and Maryland. It’s definitely worth the treat. The trail is well marked and is family friendly. There are restrooms in the parking lot and there is overflow parking at the visitors center about .3 miles away. Bring your camera because you will want to have proof that you were here."
