"If you’re looking for a peaceful place to live, this is not the place for you. The office ladies are great, and some of this is out of their control. The buildings them selves are very old and therefor the floors creek literally every movement. You can hear anything and everything. I could hear my one neighbor snoring on a daily basis. My cats would play and chase each other and the old lady below me would get so mad, thinking it was purposeful. That was not fun at all, dealing with her lifeless self. Neighbors also don’t have any respect when it comes to music. Fall time is the worst with the highschool sporting games. Couldn’t sleep hearing that all evening. The daycare behind the place also blasts music in the evening. Parking can be an issue at times. BEWARE any possible renters, if you get a room with carpet, they WILL force you to pay the $500 to replace it once you move out, no matter how clean and spotless it is. There were carpet replacing guys there about every week, replacing carpets in rooms. That was an unexpected notice, expecting your security deposit back and having to pay that instead. Also the theme for renewing, rent goes up $200 every year it seems. Don’t make the mistake we did by moving here!! Our previous apartment was so much more quiet! Definitely regretted it!"

"It's very quiet and peaceful. Walking around the neighborhood is truly a great experience here. There are many amenities including a gym and a cookout area. "I have lived at Sherwood Crossing for three years and have really loved being here. The grounds are meticulously maintained, there's ample parking, the maintenance staff are extremely helpful, and the leasing office staff are fantastic! I don't know what I would do without Heather and Michelle. They are always so helpful and kind. At the beginning of the pandemic, they called all the residents just to see how we were all doing and I really appreciated that. The price is right around what you would expect for this area and the location is excellent! I'm so glad I chose to move here."

"I LOVED knowing my mother was in such a great community! While I was never a resident, my mother enjoyed eight years here. Mobility changes have required moving, otherwise she'd have stayed a decade more. The other reviewers are right when they praise the courtesy and kindness of Heather and Michelle in the leasing office. Kenny in maintenance has always been a friendly face and immediately responsive. The community is over thirty years old, so a renter should absolutely expect some squeaks and creaks. But the community is clean, the property well cared-for, and the location is great. Our family is immensely thankful for the the excellent experience my mother enjoyed. It was a great eight years and we'll all miss the best view in the community."

"I have had the privilege of being a resident here for the past 9 years. I am very glad I made the decision to reside at this complex. It has been a quiet and safe environment, convenient to stores, schools, restaurants in a constantly evolving area. The maintenance and landscaping is well kept (daily upkeep including dumpsters and general landscaping), amenities are always updated inside and out (pool and barbecue area were recently renovated). Kenny, our Maintenance Manager, is always willing to help and is very kind. During our winter months we have quick snow removal including parking lot, sidewalks, and general area. Any reported problems are usually done within 24 hours. We have community functions and gatherings in our complex (helping us to get to know each other better and form friendships). We have a wonderful Management team in the office, always available and willing to assist. As a resident, I welcome and encourage all new residents of the security, convenience, and friendliness of our neighborhood. I have also talked with other friends, family, and strangers in our development and we are all proud to be a resident here. My visiting family and friends really like and enjoy our complex."
