"12/28/23 update: ordered cup of soup ($4.99) and a bowl of soup ($6.99). Literally about 3 spoonfuls difference (see pictures. 1st pic is 2 "full" containers. I finished the "cup" and poured the "bowl" inside the cup size. Literally a difference between the bottom line on the "cup" size and the top line). Husband ordered roast beef. Half of sandwich was bread; other half had 1 piece of meat (see pictures)."

"Came in to place a to go order with a car full of hungry toddlers. Was told no potatoes were ready. I said that’s okay! We’re okay with waiting the 30 minutes. But they tell me that I’m not allowed to do that because they are only letting online orders get them. I said wait, so I can go online and get my food but I’m in here right now ordering to go and I can’t? They said yep! So that’s customer service for you I guess. Worst ever honestly. I’m shocked at how ridiculous this policy is. I hope they shut down. AND they raise their prices for online orders too lol (it’s true go look!). The old manager was amazing! I don’t know what happened to this place but yikes. I guess being scammy and ridiculous to your customers is the new way of McAlisters. You lost good customers who have been coming here for many years."

"We made it to the store about 20 minutes before closing after attending a Virginia Tech game. The GM was gracious, food was just as fresh and the quality I'd expect during lunch hour. He didn't rush us after closing, was incredibly kind to us and our kids. While we're not on the area often, I will happily patronize this store again - the GM deserves all the business he can get and McAlister's food is hard to beat."

"I love this place. I can eat here every day. Employees need to wear a name badge. When I bring friends and family, they ask me how I know their name. I come a lot. But new customer needs to know their name."

"This was the first time that I have actually dined in here although they've catered us at work plenty of times. The food is great. Always fresh and always a lot! Dined in this time. You have the option of ordering at the counter or ordering by app at your table and someone will bring it to you. It's tucked away in a small shopping strip mall. Good parking. Nice and quiet area. I highly recommend if you want a casual, quiet place with great food. ****UPDATE*** 10/15/21. Had dinner here again. My son's first time. We had a wonderful, fresh, healthy dinner. Lots of options, including my favorite, 1/2 sandwich with bowl of soup. If you're in the area, definitely give them a try."
