"Nothing Joyful about this facility. It smells horrible, they’re constantly short staffed & overpriced . There have been numerous diseases going around between pink eye, HFM, and always a cough. They don’t take the time to close down to sterilize the place, like the health dept suggests and when you voice any concern about their protocols, or lack there of, they terminate your contract day of. This place has definitely fallen off since Ms Brooks left. It is now a tyrannical oligarchy running this disgusting daycare. Run, don’t walk away from this disgusting place"

"they put you in a classroom by yourself with too many children (leave you out of teacher to children ratio) they don't pay you for the hours you work. if your shift is 9AM-6PM and you stay past 6, they will change your clock out time to 6 pm. you have to alert director and assistant director of change in hours if you would like them to fix it to reflect time worked when your time is fixed, its not given to you on the current pay cycle, its given to you on the NEXT pay cycle (unfair) director and assistant director stay in office all day, barely offer help in classrooms and assistant director has an attitude when asked for help definitely favoritism very low pay no structure or organization no clear print out of duties no consideration for days needed off lots of gossiping, especially amongst management children and myself CONSTANTLY sick because there's no sanitization of toys and parents aren't alerted by director and assistant director of children illnesses spreading throughout center. Children aren't always sent home when sick since I've been working there, there's been rotating cases of pink eye, hands foot and mouth disease, the flu, and upper respirator infections."

"We love Joyful Care Children's Academy! My daughter has been attending since she was around 5 months old (June 2021) and is almost 2 now. The staff is awesome and Ms. Brooks (director) goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure kids and families are well taken care of! Definitely recommend"

"My son started at Joyful Care in April of 2022. Prior to this, he had been in a neglectful daycare environment and had regressed tremendously. He is currently enrolled in Occupational Therapy that is welcomed and always accommodated by the school for in-class sessions. Since our time at Joyful Care, my son has made a full circle in his daily life. We went from shy and reserved to running, playing, mimicking, recognizing same colors, basic sign language, EATING, literally the list could just go on and on. The excitement he expresses when he sees his teachers is incredible and he is hardly hesitant for me to leave. The staff is always attentive and has always been able to answer any question asked from myself or his OT team, regarding my child. When choosing someone to look after your child, make sure they have potential to love your baby as their own- and Joyful Care has always done that which truly reflects. Our family could not be happier with the love, care and education he has received in our time here. 10/10 recommend!"

"My infant daughter started at this daycare center at six months old. She’s been there since December 2021 and I had no issues. The providers there are awesome and the management communication is very transparent with center updates/news. Everyone greets my child and I by name and with a smile. They have a digital approach to communicating your child’s daily activity which includes meals diaper changes and naps. This makes it easier to refer back to once you are home. They are up-to-date with the COVID-19 protocol Per CDC and local government advisement. Every age group is separated by a room or a door. There could be 2 to 3 providers in the infant room depending on the amount of infants there for that particular day. From my experience the infant room is clean frequently which leaves a fresh disinfectant smell when I enter. The cost of daycare can be pricey so the management there provide information to parents who may qualify for available financial assistance. Each infant has their own napping space in a crib that is equipped with bedding that the parents provide and is cleaned weekly. All infant milk for that day must be made and provided. They are open to the breast-feeding option for those mothers who select this method. The milk is stored in a large refrigerator/freezer provided by the facility. They do not provide the bottles but they do provide plates/bowls and utensils for those who eat solids. So labeling is very important. My daughter’s personality, physical mobility and social skills has blossomed so far at this daycare. They have ample toys, swings, bouncers and high chairs for the children. I would recommend this center to everyone. Comment about the “other” low rating post. I’m an actual parent contrary to the other post stating fake reviews. I have nothing to gain by applauding those who help care for my child. I’ve done my research I see what they offer to pay employees via ad on indeed. I spoke with my child’s giver directly about the cleaning material being strong and it was corrected months ago, they no longer use strong bleach smelling products. Labeling is everything, it’s crucial to prevent mixup because they are only human. As a mother of four that range from 16yrs old to infant I’ve had my share of experiences with daycares. Like any other problem communication is key, mention it directly to management and give them a chance to correct it."
