"I had a pleasant stay for one night and would stay here again. Atmosphere was comfortable and the room was clean. Shared bathroom. Do-It-Yourself shared kitchen with fresh fruit, eggs, toast, coffee and your choice of apparatus to brew it with. Be sure to read their website where you can also make the reservation. Next time I will ask about their solar panels."
"It is a 3 bedrooms house with a basement. The owner couple live in the basement and the 3 bedrooms are guests rooms that share the same bathroom. The owner is very nice, the supply is good for making breakfast, tea/coffee, milk, egg etc.... nice art works in the house and a lot of plants. overall it is good."
"I spent 8 days at Fairhaven and enjoyed it tremendously. It's comfy, cozy, and well positioned for seeing Charlottesville - just a 25 minute walk into the historic downtown pedestrian mall - as well as the perfect alternative to a big, impersonal hotel. Breakfast is DIY and simple, but the ingredients - eggs, bread, butter, jams and spreads and excellent tea and coffee - are fresh and plentiful. A great home, and hosted by two wonderful people - Raven and Flame."
"Good points are mentioned in other comments. Here's the con: Bedroom - small with too much nudity pic. Bathroom - shared with two other rooms. Kitchen - More hostel style, you can cook for yourself and clean after it. There's no napkins. I enjoyed the hospitality. And it's clean. 3 stars because it is what is, not because the stay is not unpleasant. Thanks for the hosting."
"Lovely peaceful sweet home. The fix-it- yourself breakfast was ideal with organic good food. Enjoying the screen porch in this quiet peaceful haven, with its surrounding green space, was soul nurturing. The gracious hosts simply let the quiet peacefulness surround you and speak for itself."
