"Incompetent front desk staff. Wouldnt check to see what was wrong with fax machine when my doctor tried sending lab order. Lady at front desk just said “oh it takes two hours for fax to come thru”. I had already waited an hour in waiting room. What a lazy person. Total lie."

"I'm not sure why people are giving this place such a bad rating My experience was great I needed a blood draw for some lab tests. I checked online and there was an available appointment that morning. I booked that and filled out the online information. When I arrived at the center I did the online check in and waited in my car. When my appointment was ready I went inside and showed my ID to the lady. She was very pleasant and helpful. After just a few minutes she took me to the back room and drew my blood. I was out of there within 10 minutes."

"Antiquated computer systems combined with poor communication skills. Sent a chronically ill patient into a panic by telling them (wrongly) their insurance lapsed. Insurance used two days prior for another doctor visit. Wouldn't even call the company to verify after showing them medical card from online portal. Had to have policy manager for BCBS call them. They said they couldn't get their system to accept group and ID number because they're "out of network". Nevermind that multiple family members have had labs drawn here with same insurance and I can go to another LabCorp, no problem. Pretty sure they were trying to leverage the need for lab work and make me pay cash, but whatever. Hampton medical offices in general are horribly staffed at front desk. Par for the course. But these folks were particularly awful at their jobs today. Ah well. Off to Quest. At least they'll so the work and seem to be able to process basic insurance information."

"I made an appointment the day before, used the self check in when I arrived, and all went smoothly. I had a short wait time. The ladies working there apologized because they were having some technical issues and waiting for IT to come. The nurse who did my lab work was kind and we had a good chat and some laughs!"

"Update: they sent my results to a random hospital and then wouldn’t send my provider the results after my nurse called. This was a stat order and necessary for a surgery. Original post: I have an appt at 4, it’s now 4:05 and the place is a ghost town…I can hear people chatting casually in the back, but no one is manning the desk. Unless you’re like me and needed a stat test, avoid this place at all costs."
