"I bought some vintage wooden doors off of Etsy (apparently from India) because I loved the intricate wood carving detail in the center of each one. Unfortunately the trims didn't match and I wanted to use them for sliding barn doors. That's when I reached out to John Cather and family. He discovered that the doors were made of different wood so the only way to get the trims to match is to stain the lighter one darker. He did an incredible job matching them up and preserving the essence of the doors which I love so much. They really care about their craft and it shows. Would highly recommend."
"John and James Cather took in our sideboard and kitchen table and chairs to refinish after years of use and probably a bit of abuse. The process took awhile, but they are very busy these days and I knew that from the start. They returned the sideboard first and a couple of weeks later the table and chairs.
