It was our dancers first time at a convention and a friend of mine said “I hope FDA is here, their students are wonderful and their staff is so kind”. She was right. Those students took over the dance floor while encouraging local studios around them. The owner is kind and creative- her studio is like a tiny museum. "When I moved to Forest, Va 7 years ago, relocating from upstate New York, one of my top priorities, once settled, was to find a dance school to continue my love of tap dancing. I was fortunate to discover Forest Dance Academy and it has been my absolute pleasure to take both tap and jazz classes here for these past years. I missed classes greatly during the pandemic but was able to continue individual tap lessons with Michelle Thomas, the talented tap teacher and owner of the studio. The adult classes are fun, challenging, and full of camaraderie; and FDA's recitals every spring and every-other Christmas are fabulous -- well-run, creative, and very professional."
