"My only complaint is with the housekeeping crew itself. Very rude, straight up lying on guests, and trying to be confrontational with guests there. Other than that the front desk people were great, food was good, and location is good. They could use a better housekeeping manager and crew."
"We booked online as we were flying down the highway over the Christmas holiday. What a beautiful little town this was and this hotel was just fabulous. Inexpensive but neat clean and the beds were so comfortable. I can't say enough great things about this stop"
"Nice big rooms and comfy beds. They had run out of soap and gave us extra shampoo instead. It was the day after Christmas so deliveries were probably interrupted, so don't hold that against them."
"Our hotel room is clean and lovely. We are enjoying the nice views. It's in a business district, with other large hotels nearby, as well as a lot of outdoor shopping plazas and restaurants. It's a bit crowded in this part of town. Our hotel was mostly quiet, but you can hear people coming and going in the hallways. It sucks at 6 AM, when you plan to sleep in until 7. Uggh. Our breakfast was delicious. Everything was clean and well-stocked. The staff here is friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here."
"We booked a room a day in advance but had to cancel the following morning. We had a medical emergency. They charged us $176 for that night eventhough we never were able to stay there. Our booking agent requested they not charge us. The room was booked for less than 24 hours. The hotel was notified in time to rent the room to someone else. Life happens. You'd expect some consideration but we never even heard from management regarding our situation. Just a big fat bill. I hope others planning a stay in Harrisonburg choose a better place. Next time we pass through there you can be sure WE will. We are in our 70s. Businesses didn't treat people this way in our day."
