"I enjoyed a nice bowl of spicy miso ramen while in Richmond briefly. The server was friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and parking was easy to find even in a busy location. The broth has a good depth of flavor and was actually served piping hot, as it should be! The charchu pork is fall off the spoon tender. The noodles have a good chew to them. The egg was seasoned fairly well, but was a bit overcooked. I love a good soft boiled, jammy egg in my ramen. The spicy miso ramen wasn’t particularly spicy, but the bowl did have good flavor. All of the flavors of the broth, noodles, charchu, egg and veggies came together to create a cohesive dish. Overall, this is a great ramen spot. It has a low key, chill vibe. The prices are quite reasonable as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again the next time I’m in town and would try the tonkatsu ramen next time!"

"I never write reviews but Today the food that i received disrespected me. I was served HOT WATER as Ramen Broth. I asked for 2 miso soups . They made a big deal over the phone like I was inconveniencing them. I asked for 2 miso soups and got 2 FUNKY HOT WATER SOUPS. NO FLAVOR NO TASTE. I got miso soups before so I know what they look like. I was lied to and i believe it was on purpose."

"Ordered the pork katsu over rice, shoyu ramen, and curry popcorn chicken. The katsu itself was tasty but the portion size was smaller than expected. The ramen was very tasty and the pork itself was tender. The popcorn chicken however was an absolute embarrassment at $7 for what we got, it felt like we were served yesterday's scraps and what we did have was rubbery and cold. Also why would you plate a take out order of fried food over a wet slaw? The miso soup we received with our order was borderline tasteless as well."

"This place is located around the VCU campus. It has a lot of young crowd. The place allowed me to get bubble tea from the shop nearby and have it in their restaurant. The servers were very friendly and explained me things as I wanted no meat option. They made sure that I am ordering no meat option only. I loved the taste of ramen. The best ramen I had in the entire Richmond Downtown area."

"The ramen here is alright, wouldn’t say it’s anything over the top but the pork in the Shoyu Ramen was very tender and flavorful. The egg is over cooked for ramen in my opinion. I think they should be a little runny in ramen but it was pretty good. I also got the Gyudon though and I will say that saved it. Really reminded me of sukiya, which is a good thing. This is a place I’d go back to for the Gyudon 100%"
