"I was a walk in on a Sunday morning, I waited about 10 mins for a technician and I was seated and had my hands placed in a bowl of acetone. After 40 minutes, I got up and left. My hands are absolutely destroyed. I tried to remove my hands from the acetone and was told by a technician that I needed to put them back in the bowl. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and I have never had this horrible of an experience before. I realize that I was a walk in, but I was also a paying customer. I will not be returning to this business or recommending it to anyone and that is a shame."

"I had a great first time experience here at Roanoke Nail Salon on Franklin Rd. Clean salon. Fast service. Nice decor. Ann did my nails. Nails were smooth, the shape I wanted and all of the corners of nail was perfect. I recommend! Thanks Ann"

"After a disappointing experience at Lovely Nails, I decided to give this place a shot. I love it! It’s so pretty and relaxing. The staff is also funny and sassy. Ann did this acrylic set. I’m in love! It’s definitely going to be my go to spot."

"3.5 experience if I’m honest. Came here with a friend and the staff was a little intense right off the bat. Forcing us to make color choices as we walked in the door without giving us a moment to look at the colors. We were 15 minutes early so we could have this time to pick. Then they decided to separate me and my friend while we got our nails done even tho there were plenty of open chairs next to both of us & they sat a stranger next to me 10 minutes later. Just silliness, keep friends together, it makes it more fun& that’s why we go together. Now onto the nails, my nail tech offered stickers for the snowflakes to which I declined because I wasn’t going to pay $5+ a nail for a sticker. My friend actually got an artist that knew what he was doing and did a BEAUTIFUL job on the nail designs. (The blue nails & mine are the plain because my guy couldnt draw snowflakes) not only that but my nails are squatty and thick, didn’t come to a point like i asked and the second they grew out just a LITTLE (4 days after getting them done) my hair was getting caught in the bottoms because he didn’t file them down near enough. So I’ve been filing them since getting home trying to save them. Our pedicures were normal & enjoyable. All in all it was a 3.5 experience. I’d go back to have the other guy that did my friends nails, fix my nails. Then it’d be a 5 star experience!"

"The picture doesn’t even do my nails justice!! There was a little bit of a wait but the wait was worth it because Ann did an amazing job with my nails. She didn’t rush to get to the next customer, but rather took her time to make it exactly how I liked it. She cleaned up my cuticles even though I got tips, which normally people don’t do. She recommended the “cat eye” paint which is the pretty design you see. I’m going to try to get more pictures of these beauties. I’m new to the area and have been to a few other salons, and the experience just hasn’t been as nice. I will be coming back here!!"
