"I previously went to Zee’s Salon and hired them to do the hair and makeup for my wedding. I will say, I was so happy with the hair services for my wedding. Everyone looked great and loved their hair! Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the makeup service. Due to the makeup artist not allocating enough time, one of my bridesmaids who I paid for makeup for, was not provided with makeup for the day. My sister had to do her makeup... I was never offered a refund either. I did leave a note on the questionnaire sent to me after the wedding, yet still no one ever reached out to refund me for my bridesmaid who did not get the makeup done that I paid for. I did not reach out due to being incredibly busy, but I do not feel like I should have to for them to do the right thing. We were also in a mad dash to get to the ceremony specifically because of the makeup artist and I was late to my own wedding. Long story short: We looked great, but Zee’s added stress to my day and did not refund me for a service that was not provided, which I find unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon to a future bride."

"Short review: John is fantastic and I will definitely be coming back to him! He knows exactly what he's doing, and he's excellent at it. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Longer review: I've been trying to find a stylist in Roanoke for 4 years who could cut my hair. Typically I grow it out for several months then get a pixie cut, which requires layers, shaping, etc. The last person I went to (different salon) used clippers and cut my hair too short with no shape or texture. I hated it. John is the complete opposite. I was able to book an appointment online and, when doing that, share my reference picture so he could see what I wanted before my appointment. When I arrived, he was personable and professional. I told him about my last experience and he said absolutely no clippers, this is entirely a scissor cut. He said he'd add layers and keep it longer on top for styling with my bangs and because that would work better with the shape of my face. I was very pleased to hear him say that because that's what my old stylist would always do. This told me John knew what he was doing and was comfortable doing a pixie cut. John did a fantastic job with my hair. When I looked in the mirror after he was done, I told him I feel like *me* again. It was exactly what I wanted, and I am extremely happy with my entire experience. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner."

The entire staff works together to make sure all of your needs are met during your time there. If I could give 100 stars, I would!"
