"Instructors I've had so far have been great other then whoever the male CWI is. Way to strict on grading and failed me by it being ro high by the thickness of a piece of paper, causing me to now delay working, im struggling to get a job and now may lose my job opportunity because it's taking longer to complete this. I've called in the past 4 days asking to speak to director of education but between 3 people he's been there but also hasn't been there for 3 days even tho inwas told everyday I called he was in just not at his desk. They've emailed and I've left a voice-mail. If I lose my chance at a job because the thickness of paper ima be pissed. As well as considering every instructor I Spoke to before turning plate in said it was fine and at the limit."

"This school is a scam save your money they will sign you up for loans and make you think everything is well I owe $16,000 in student loans and didn’t even finish the course but they insisted on telling me I graduated and their instructors are not passionate about the trade you will end up teaching yourself. I’ve been at TCC ever since and I’ve learned a lot got a degree in automotive technology and I owe nothing. If you’re serious about your education DO NOT go to tidewater tech they will steal your money and leave you looking foolish when you get in the field this school is a SCAM!"

"This school is a scam they will revise your financial aid and sign you up for student loans without your knowledge and have you sign off on it and you will leave in debt."

"As I read these reviews, I'm so glad I never attended this place! I see this place stay searching for welding instructors every other month. They will reach out to young green guys new to the field whom I work with and teach on the job but will overlook a real candidate that can actually teach and has been around. Obviously the person picking the instructors need to be fired!!! And so on, snowball effect!!"

"My 16 year old son visited this school for a field trip approximately a month ago. Since then, they have called me, texted me, and emailed us daily. I nicely ask them not to call. They continue. I block the number. They call me from another number. I politely explain that I use my phone as part of my job and they are disrupting my day and my ability to care for my son. They say they will remove me from their list. They just call or text me from a different number the next day. Do not ever give this school your information - you will be contacted every day for the rest of your life. I will give a one start review every single time they contact me from this day forward. Maybe public accountability will make a difference. Doubtful."
