"I was ready to start college in a public French university when me and my family were invited to move to the United States for business purposes. Since I was in France I had already knew and chosen ODU to be my future university. Arriving in the States, I visited ODU with a friend, and I just fell in love for this great university. Also, I was very well received by the ELC staff that helped me to start my ODU's experience with intensive weeks of English classes taught by very competent teachers. In my first month here, I took the TOEFL, but my score wasn't enough. However, after ONLY 14 weeks, I retook the TOEFL, and I passed with the help of the ELC. I really thank them for giving me this amazing experience in which I could learn more than a language, but also different cultures, academic subjects, technologic breakthroughs, and much more. Learning has never been so much fun as it was at the ELC. I also want to thank my family who graciously supported me all the time, the friends that I met and who I'll never forget, and finally I thank God for giving me the capacity to do everything! ODU, here I go!"
