"Village Bank is massively incompetent. Their web and app presence is horrible and extremely limited compared to other banks and credit unions. Any time I need to do anything, I have to call a branch in order to get anything done. The people on the phone are always nice, but mostly can’t do anything to help. When I deal with Village Bank, everything feels difficult."

The team at the Forest branch has done a great job making my wife and I feel welcome-and not like a number. We had to open an account at a National Bank for my daughter in college and they told us if we used a teller for help, our monthly fee would be higher. "Been with Village for 2 years now (after 8 stressful years with one of the big banks) Great customer service. Always competent, efficient, and friendly. if you need to call to discuss or figure out something, it is usually resolved within a couple minutes after making the call, I've never been in hold once. Also, I got a slightly higher interest rate on savings than my previous institution. The only reason I don't give Village 5 stars is because certain locations seem to have frequent issues where the ATM is out of order. Also, the banking app could provide a better breakdown of each purchase. Sometimes it is hard to tell what the purchase was from the information given."

We have had the best customer service at Village Bank and in particular at this west end branch and at the branch in Hanover on Sliding Hill Road. The tellers are outstanding, personable and efficient. I cannot speak to ATM fees but if you want outstanding personalized service than Village Bank is the Best Bank in the Richmond area. I own my own company and expect great customer service and I get that at Village Bank!!"
