"Have gotten excellent service from friendly Keith Sutton every time I have brought deposits to the bank lobby."

"We do all of our personal and business banking with First Citizens Bank. We've never had a problem getting a question answered or with customer service. I was surprised to read those two comments because we have had the opposite experience. I have found the customer service at FCB to be the best of any bank I've every worked with. They definitely have better customer service than any of the big guys and I've worked with most of them including Wells Fargo, Bank of America, SunTrust, and BB&T to name a few. The Short Pump branch has the nicest most knowledgeable staff. Also, if they don't know an answer right away they start making calls and emails to find out. I recommend this bank highly."

"I've been banking with Frist Citizens Bank Short Pump since 2014. They helped me get a business loan to start a new business and I've been with them ever since. I have moved my personal banking over from a large commercial bank known for making fake accounts (Wells Fargo). I don't worry about that nonsense with First Citizens. Banking with FCB I've gotten excellent rates and terms on a number of personal and business loans. The best part is... they call me by name when I visit before seeing my info on paper. I highly recommend you give this smaller local bank a try!"

"I am new to the area and was opening a small business account. No one wants to have their 5 and 2 year old on errand like this, but it was something I had to do. All of the employees didn't even bat an eye or make me feel like it was ridiculous. They were so welcoming and accommodating with them and helpful and professional getting the work done. I am thankful I chose this bank to work with."

"I have been a First Citizens account holder since I was 5 years old. I have since opened other primary accounts with other banks due to constantly moving with the military, but kept my First Citizens account for when I come home to visit. While home, I bought in a jar of loose change and was told by a teller that it must be rolled before they will take it. Totally understandable. When I returned after counting and rolling over $50 in change, I was told that it was first citizens policy to not take half rolls of any coins. While the total of my half rolls may have only been a couple of dollars. I was dumbfounded to find that the bank tellers would not count my change. I am sure they would have counted $100 bills, but not my minuscule amount of change. Perhaps it was because I was wearing flip flops and a dirty t-shirt and in need of a haircut. Either way, for that reason I closed my account of over 20 years with first citizens, and will find another bank that will take my spare change and not just my paychecks. Pennies made the difference."
