"Dr. Sheppard is amazing !!! he has such a wonderful demeanor and is excellent with children. We have been seeing this dentist for a long time! We live at the lake and travel in to Roanoke because he is that good. His front office staff has always been friendly anytime we have been there."
"It saddens me to leave this review but nonetheless I feel others should be aware. The staff is super friendly. Dentist is great. The downside is when work is actually needed to be done. My husband has delta dental and even still the out of pocket here is RIDICULOUS. They have a flat rate of $1000. And a down payment that has to be paid before scheduling. Was unwilling to work out any other forms of payment or any other treatment plan. We will have to find another dentist in the area that is more affordable. $1700 for 1 child out of pocket is insane to me when I have 2 other and I was told all the work HAD to be done all at once or I’d have to pay $1000 each time and that’s just now how they do things. Either way, I’d recommend them only if you never run into cavities with your kids, then you’re going to run into some serious $$$."
"Could not ask for a better pediatric dentist. Dr. Sheppard walks them through every step and in a manner they completely understand and feel at ease with. No matter what, my son never worries about a visit because he says Dr. Sheppard always makes it easy."
"Dr. Sheppard is such a caring pediatric dentist! He has a calming effect on kids and is amazing in procedures. My daughter actually wanted to get another filling because of the pleasant experience. He has a great way of explaining everything to me as a parent- from what to expect as kids grow, to options for treating injuries. The atmosphere is relaxing and staff is friendly. Highly recommend- he feels like a friend!"
"I would give this office more than five stars if I could. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and Dr. Sheppard is, without a doubt, one of the kindest and most caring people you will ever meet. Every time we visit I am simply astonished at how wonderful he is with kids. My oldest daughter went in for a tooth extraction, and somehow he was able to make even that experience a positive one for her. Highly recommend this location to anyone with kids."
