"I am writing this review in reference to a business in our Hampton Roads area that is very FRAUDULENT not only to me but I found out to others and I decided to take a stand and be that voice to make sure this does not happen to anyone else again! My husband and I had placed a custom suit order with a company called J.Marquez (1932 Coliseum Drive, Hampton Virginia 23666) on Saturday, August 25, 2018 for our 10 year vow renewal/wedding which was on Saturday, March 9, 2019. The business is owned by Jason Taylor who is also a Sailor with the US Navy and a Pastor of Revelation Church located in Hampton, VA. This individual portrays that he is a hand sew tailor when he is not. The suits he provided are very poorly made and defective. My husband and his groomsmen had no choice but to wear the suits on our wedding/vow renewal day due to the suits was not received until a week or 2 before my wedding. We had actually a very professional tailor and her team fix what could be done so atleast some of the suits can be presentable to wear. I as well as others have been attempting to be compensated by Mr. Taylor who has refused to do so. I as well as others have used social media to reach out to Mr. Taylor (specifically on his Facebook business page listed as “J.Marquez”) on the dates of April 4, 2019 and April 5, 2019 but as of today’s date Mr. Taylor has deleted his business page from Facebook but his Facebook personal page "Jason Taylor" and church Facebook business page "Revelations Church" is still active. This business has received a total of $3,763.00 from my husband and I for a suit order that was horribly made. There are others that have not even received their suit order and Mr. Taylor still has not reimbursed them. My husband and I are asking a reimbursement of 1505.20 for the suits that were received defective and not properly made. I am asking for any assistance you can please provide in helping me as well as others resolve this matter. Please visit my Facebook page “Denique Pitter-Nottingham” and there you will be able to see a video I have loaded about what happened to me and the responses from others that have been affected. I also have pictures of the product as well as conversations that were made between Mr. Taylor, my husband, and I. Mr. Taylor business partner, Michelle (his sister-in-law), who shares the shop with him and whose business name is "Mcellis Brides" (same name under Facebook) is also in cahoots with him and has done this to her clients as well. The names of others that have been affected by these individuals are Keiara Harris (whose recent story was done by Rhoda Young and has been reposted on my Facebook page), Rita Stith Loftin (whose story has also been shared on my Facebook page), and Cynthia Jackson ( whose story was shared on my Facebook page but was removed when Mr. Taylor deleted his Facebook business page). Believe me there are probably others! He also recently sent a text message 2 to 3 weeks ago to my husband stating he is going to send a Cashier check in the amount requested due to his family is so called being "harassed" by my postings on social media. All I did was tell my TRUTH! IF HE WOULD OF RESOLVED THIS ISSUE BEFORE MY WEDDING I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO TAKE THIS MATTER TO SOCIAL MEDIA! I'm glad I did due to I found out I was not the only one. I have pics of the text messages between Mr. Taylor and I as well as pictures. Pictures will show a suit arm stitched closed. A suit jacket made too small and stiched incorrectly to the point that a new jacket from a retailer had to be purchased. There were jackets with buttons placed on the wrong side. Buttons on suits stitched horribly. Jacket stained. All suits were completely wrinkled and given to us in what looked like white garbage bags. I can go on and on. I should be asking for the whole amount back!"
