"Really poor quality food. I promised myself I wouldn’t buy meat from here anymore (Food Lion in general). I decided to try them for a last minute option and picked up a pack of lamb chops. I cooked all day making a Mediterranean feast (some of the food not pictured) only to find the lamb chops were not fresh. Have to throw them away. I bought organic cherry tomatoes and a tomato in the basket was totally spoiled and molded. Bought and organic English cucumber which ended up being dry. All in one shopping trip. They only got 2 stars because of their wine selection and that they are right across the street. I wish we could have a Mom’s, or a Trader Joe’s. Going to try one of the local farms and box delivery services for my meats from now on. Unfortunately, these lamb chops are going in the trash. Thank God I got my ground lamb elsewhere. SMH. Do better people."
"Recently my wife and I stopped in Food Lion to get a few items that we needed at home. There is a wide selection of fresh Produce to pick from and at a reasonable price. They have a Meat and Seafood section and a Bakery & Deli section. They have some of the name brand products along with the "Food Lion" Brand. The prices are reasonable and comparable to some of the other supermarkets in the area."
