Martin's Soul Food

"I’ve order take out from Martin’s before and it was great. I decided to use their catering services for a party of 100. They were great! I wish I would’ve taken pictures. There was more than enough food and I received everything I asked for. The guest from the party still ask about the Mac&Cheese and String Beans. They even constantly talk about the rice! I asked for ALL wings for a party of 100 and that’s exactly what I received. I also ordered assorted cakes and the cakes were not store brought, they were homemade and everyone enjoyed them! Anyway, if you are thinking about using them to cater then you should!! And they deliver! And they will work with you and assist you in any way that you need!"

"Ordered and ate inside. Greens was flavorful and the mac'n'cheese was tasty however lots of hard noodles to navigate around. Fried pork chops were seasoned ok. They were chewy unfortunately. Doubtful to go back"

"The food was okay, not bad but not good. But for $14.99 for the Dinner combo the food needs to be amazing. The fried chicken was pretty good tho. For pork chops they should give you at least 3 instead of 2 since you’re paying $14.99 for it. P.S there is a surcharge if you use your card to pay!"

"Went to Martins and had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I go on a regular but last Sunday was Horrible. Should of stayed away when the sign on the door said looking for cook it was gonna be bad! I get my usual smothered pork chops w/ Mac and cheese and greens. My order is ready and lady shows me and I said it was supposed to be smothered she yells to the back and they bring me a small cold cup of gravy, HUH, WTH is this? So the cook I guess comes out with my cold cup of gravy along with her child from the back & walk outside. Oh hell no the meat was so DRY AND OVERCOOKED THAT THERE WAS NO MEAT. MAC & CHEESE WAS BLAND AND DRY. GREENS WERE SO SALTY. WASTE OF MY MONEY- ENDED UP THROWING IT AWAY!!!LOOK I DON'T KNOW WHO OR WHAT IS GOING ON BUT DO BETTER! I KNOW I WON'T BE GOING BACK AND HAVE LET OUR REPS THAT BRING US CATERED LUNCH NOT TO BRING US FOOD FROM HERE AS WELL! U CAN TELL BY LOOKING AT THE PICS THIS TRAY WAS DISGUSTING. I HAVE NEVER & NEVER WILL. Only good thing was the roll. The cake was so DRY IT HAD TO OF BEEN BAKED AT LEAST 4 DAYS PRIOR. AINT NO WAY NONE OF THIS FOOD WAS FRESH OR MADE SAME DAY.I AM EMBARRASSED TO EVEN SHOW THE PICS BUT I HAD TO SO U ALL COULD SEE. I am NOT bashing but simply saying- DO BETTER"

"First time eating there and it was good. Could have given bigger portions of chitterlings and should come with rice. But had to add as a side. I ordered online and picked it up within 15 minutes. Also got pork chops and meatloaf"
