"The food was okay. Decent portion sizes and had good flavor. Unfortunately, it was cold by the time of delivery and my Veg. Pakora was overcooked (very brown and had a burnt taste to it. May need to change the oil). If you're ordering the entrees online, it comes with rice. That wasn't mentioned on Grubhub. I called to verify and the person that answered, was nice. Based on the reviews, I expected a lot more...maybe next time."
"Have to bump their rating from a 5 to a 3. They messed up our order. Forgot to give us the correct bread type we ordered and then the mirch malai chicken was made so sweet it was inedible. There was no ‘Mirch’ in it despite asking for it to be made ‘hot’. The chicken was also very chewy. We have had this dish before (and everything else on their menu over the past 4-5 years). This time it was simply a bad experience. They did refund us the cost of the missed bread but the chicken dish was so bad we threw most of it away."
"I've had delivery three times from Jannat and was compelled to leave a review because everything I've had has been outstanding. I've had the korma paneer twice and today I had shahi paneer. This was my first time having shahi paneer ever. Omg it is so amazing! It's creamy, spicy, salty, nutty, and sweet all at the same time. A very unique flavor profile but not weird. It goes great with the garlic naan. The onions are small thin pieces of red onion. They are tender and sweet. Seasoned basmati rice also excellent. Overall, everything was outstanding. The delivery went well as the food was packaged tightly."
"Excellent food. Excellent customer service. Excellent atmosphere. We took a chance based on other reviews and were not disappointed. We knew from the moment we walked in that we made a good choice. The smell of curry was a welcoming aroma. The restaurant is clean and cozy without feeling cramped. The staff was superb. We were able to get vegan and gf dishes which was wonderful. When we are back in the Richmond area again, we will definitely be back."
"* Nice ambience. * Courteous staff and good service. * We ordered malai kofta and mistakenly we asked to make it Indian spicy level 5. Since staff observed, it is too much spicy for us. So they came asked us if we want it to be less spicy. And they made it little less spicy. * We liked food. * Definitely recommend to friend."
