Rise Richmond-Short Pump

"I have enjoyed going to RISE for over a year now and I must say that they have some of the best biscuits this side of 95 in the Short Pump area. The team over there, which consists of some of the nicest/friendliest people-I want to give a special shout out to Bradley, Steven, Alison-go out of there way to make you always feel welcome! I normally get a blueberry biscuit sandwich because they are almost all loaded down with the most delicious blueberries and the added glaze just puts the sandwich over the top."

"Love this place! We eat here every time we are in Richmond. This time we ordered online the night before because we were going to be short on time. Process was super easy. We ended up picking up our order 30 min late (our fault not theirs) and it was still hot and delicious! Typically get bacon, runny egg, and cheese on cheddar biscuit and a blueberry biscuit for “dessert!” It’s the only place to get a good runny egg on a biscuit and it’s delicious every time!!!"

"usually im happy with rise, but what happened today has warranted me leaving a bad review. got 2 fried green tomato biscuits and these are the thinnest slices of tomato ive seen in my life. one doesnt even seem to have a tomato in it? If you arent able to provide an actual slice of tomato, take it off the menu. i wouldve happily ordered something else had i known. its almost inedible as the tomato is old, thin, and tough. i work at a restaurant and personally i would not have served this."

"Love this place! It is small but one of kind in Short Pump. I ordered Fried Green Tomato with Scrambled Egg, my mom said it was the best Biscuit sandwich she ever had. The Fried Green Tomato slices were crunchy and it was a perfect balance with the Cheddar Biscuit. I had the Buffalo Chicken, loved the diced celery and blue cheese sauce with the Buffalo Chicken. Southern Chicken was also a hit at our house. Biscuits were fluffy and not dry at all. Everything was made fresh and people worked there were super friendly. My order was done really quickly. You should give it a try if you haven’t visited the Rise. They open at 7 AM and close at 2 PM seven days a week."
